From Coventry to Birmingham Airport
Birmingham Airport is the short airport run from Coventry. The road is the A45, sometimes the M42 when the A45 is held up. In normal traffic it is 25 to 40 minutes. On an NEC show day, leave earlier. The car park and the drop-off road fill up when the halls are full.
VIP Executive is based in Exhall, CV7, on the Coventry side of that run. You are not waiting on a driver coming up from London for a 30-minute job.
How long from your part of Coventry
- Exhall, Longford and CV7 — usually the short end of the 25–40 minutes, via the A444 onto the A45.
- City centre, the station, Earlsdon and Cheylesmore — plan 25–40 minutes on the A45. Friday afternoon and NEC build-up days sit at the top of that.
- Binley, Wyken and the A46 side — join the A45 further east. Same sort of time as the centre unless the A46 is queued.
- Canley, Tile Hill and the University of Warwick — often the longer end. We still use the A45, and we add time if Westwood or the A45 slip is busy.
- Bedworth — south on the A444, then the A45. Allow a few minutes more than Exhall.
For a flight, we add the check-in time you need on top of the drive. A 6am easyJet does not get the same departure from Coventry as a noon BA.
What the Coventry to BHX trip costs
